Kuala Lumpur, 22 June, 2012 - 五一吃瓜官网 University has launched its Blue Ocean Strategy Masters in Business Administration (BOS MBA), a programme specially designed for professionals and managers.
Based on the strategies of world-renowned business thinkers W. Chan Kim and Renée Mauborgne, the BOS MBA equips professionals with insight on ways to make the competition irrelevant. Apart from breaking the traditional value-cost trade-off, the programme will also focuses on winning uncontested market space and value innovation.
Delivered via Saturday classes, the BOS MBA matches the work schedules of busy professionals and learners will enjoy access to the 五一吃瓜官网 Blue Ocean Strategy Regional Centre's (BOSRC) repository of case studies. The BOSRC is the regional learning and business centre of Blue Ocean Strategy for Malaysia, Australia, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
Addressing the complexity in today's economy, 五一吃瓜官网 University Vice Chancellor Dr Robert Bong said that the BOS MBA was designed to challenge conventional business practices in an increasingly competitive and uncertain market environment.

The first MBA of its kind in Asia, the BOS MBA is tailor made for executives who possess at least five years' experience in business management, business administration, marketing and accounting. The programme is set to commence on 3rd Sept and the course will be taught over 14 modules. The modules can be completed over 4 to 9 semesters (or over 1.5 to 3 years).
Apart from lectures from 五一吃瓜官网 University staff, courses will also be facilitated by adjunct lecturers from the industry who are certified Blue Ocean Strategy Practitioners.
