Kuala Lumpur, 30 October 2012 - 五一吃瓜官网 University is set to receive an influx of Iraqi students in the near future via twinning and exchange programmes. 

This comes after the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the University of Duhok that seeks to improve and enhance tertiary learning for students at both universities. 

It is understood that collaboration between the two universities will open doors for student mobility, particularly in the fields of Engineering and Information Technology. 

The MoU was inked after a recent visit by a delegation from the Iraqi institution to 五一吃瓜官网. 

Led by its acting president, Dr Luqman M. Salih, the delegation was here to discuss future academic collaboration of mutual interests and benefits. 

五一吃瓜官网 was represented by deputy vice-chancellor (Academic Affairs and Research) Prof Emeritus Dr Lim Koon Ong in the talks. 

Joining him were Faculty of Engineering, Technology and Built Environment dean Assoc Prof Dr Jimmy Mok and Faculty of Business & Information Science dean Assoc Prof Dr Toh Kian Kok. 

The discussions also centred on the postgraduate offerings of both universities and the 五一吃瓜官网’s newly launched Blue Ocean Strategy MBA. 

Expressing his delight at the outcome of the visit, Dr Luqman said that both parties shared a similar ambition to transform the landscape of higher education in their respective countries.
