Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences team | Faculty of Pharmaceutical SciencesThe Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FPS) team led by Assoc Prof. Dr Mogana Sundari Rajagopal, Assoc Prof Dr Palanirajan Vijayaraj Kumar and Mr Hardave Singh Bhall, won the Best Innovation & Commercialization Award for their invention (Pharmcare Sanitizer Spray). The team developed a skin friendly, moisturising sanitiser spray with 99.9% antiseptic properties. The product was commercialised through the Laurent Bleu Medical Clinic, whereby the feedback and response of the product was overwhelming.

Assistant Professor Dr Anand Gaurav | Faculty of Pharmaceutical SciencesCongratulations to Assistant Professor Dr Anand Gaurav from Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, for his latest 2021 publication in Journal of Molecular Liquids [JCR Impact Factor 2020 = 6.165, top 10% (Scopus) in Condensed Matter Physics, Materials Chemistry and Spectroscopy categories], titled: “Identification of Dual Inhibitor of Phosphodiesterase 1B/10A using Structure-Based Drug Design Approach”.
Using computational virtual screening, molecular dynamics and in vitro enzyme assays, Dr Anand and his collaborators in USCI University and University Malaya, discovered the first reported Dual Inhibitor of Phosphodiesterase 1B/10A.
