Additionally, she is part of a team that received RM100,000 worth of grant for their two-year research. The title of her team¡¯s research is ¡°A workplace flourishing model: Assessing the role of kindness and work engagement¡±.

RECIPIENT OF THE MALAYSIA ¨C JAPAN GRANT

Received an international grant worth RM 6 Million for his team¡¯s four-year long research. The team¡¯s research is entitled ¡°Hybrid OTEC ¨C Development of Malaysia Model (inclusive of Economic Evaluation) under Development of Advanced Hybrid Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) Technology for Low Carbon Society & Sustainable Energy System: First Experimental OTEC Plant of Malaysia.¡±.

RECIPIENT OF THE QRAM RESEARCH GRANT

Received the QRAM research grant of RM 2,500 for her students¡¯ two-year study. The title of their research is ¡°The Influence of Optimism and Psychological Resilience to Meaning in Life in Malaysian COVID-19 Front Liners¡±.

WON SILVER AWARD AND PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD AT THE INNOVATION IN TEACHING & LEARNING COMPETITION (INTELEC2020)

Congratulations to Mohd Farizi Bin Jamaluddin, Lecturer, Department of Mass Communication, ÎåÒ»³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø University and four others from UiTM for winning Silver Award and People's Choice Award in the Virtual Reality (VR) category at the Innovation in Teaching & Learning Competition (InTeLeC2020).

Their entry was titled: "VR02 - Innovation on Malay Independence War Graveyard VR Application An Alternative for Teaching & Learning".

THEIR PROJECT RECEIVES A GRANT OF RM250,000 BY THE MALAYSIA RESEARCH UNIVERSITY NETWORK (MRUN)

Congratulations to Associate Professor Dr Lionel In Lian Aun (Faculty Of Applied Sciences) and Assistant Professor Dr Oh Siew Pei  (Faculty of Social Sciences and Liberal Arts) for receiving a grant of RM250,000 By the Malaysia Research University Network (MRUN) through the Young Researchers Grant Scheme (MY-RGS). Their project was titled ¡®A dual-pronged approach to increase production of farmed tilapia using lactococcal-based vaccination and enzybiotic¡¯. A total of 6 research projects were selected from a grand total of 238 applications amounting to RM1.5million.
