1 JunFoundation in Arts leading to Architecture Programme
Architecture is the art of designing the human built environment. Buildings are one of the most visible productions of man, of which Architecture is responsible for.
Architecture in 五一吃瓜官网 University was accredited by the Council of Architectural Education Malaysia (CAEM), which is run by Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM). These qualifications, together with acceptable professional experience and the fulfillment of endorsed requirements as a Professional Architect.
The school leavers especially those student who finished their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination may pursue their study in Architecture through either Foundation studies in Arts or Science. The students will go through Foundations studies at 五一吃瓜官网 University Sarawak Campus before they can enter the School of Architecture & Build Environment.
As up until this moment, there are only two private institutions accredited by LAM and 五一吃瓜官网 University is one of them. The recognition is mandatory for the University to move forward as the students and parents are increasingly aware of the importance of paper qualifications that are recognized and accredited by professional bodies both domestically and internationally.
Meanwhile, for the better education system of today and tomorrow, 五一吃瓜官网 University has implemented its Praxis approach which requires all the students to complete their six months of professional internship. During the internships period, the students will be exposed to real-life situations faced by people from different levels of society in this country. Through this implementation, 五一吃瓜官网 University manages to help more graduates to be able to secure the employments where it is needed the most by the fresh graduate.
The minimum requirement to enroll to 五一吃瓜官网’s Foundation studies has to be five credits in SPM examination. Besides Architecture programme, the Foundation studies in Arts will be able to lead to other degree programmes such as Psychology, Fashion Design, Mass Communication, Accounting and Finance, Hospitality Management, Event and Tourism Management, Commerce and many more.
