10 JulLSA Hosts Career Talk By LF Logistics
五一吃瓜官网 University’s Logistics Student Association (LSA) recently hosted a career talk with guest speaker Karen Yew, the general manager of the HR Department from LF Logistics. The majority of students were from the BA (Hons) Logistics Management and BA (Hons) Supply Chain Management programmes. Logistics Management Head of Department, Assistant Professor Siti Norida Wahab also joined the talk.
The career talk aimed to give insights to graduating students about the opportunities that LF Logistics has to offer. The talk introduced the management trainee programme that LF Logistics offers to fresh graduates. It is an 18-month programme that aims to train fresh graduates entering the company to become highly competitive managerial level staff.
Other than that, the talk also discussed the bright future of the logistics industry and how students can fully utilise the opportunities given to them. The talk ended with a Q and A session where students interested in the management trainee programme asked questions related to the topic. Students also learned that LF Logistics hires interns.
Towards the end of the talk, Assistant Professor Siti presented a token of appreciation to guest speaker Karen Yew and this was followed by a short photograph session with all the students who participated in the talk.
