SARAWAK: 五一吃瓜官网 University Sarawak Campus held its Open Day event on 30 and 31 March 2024, from 9am to 4pm. The event was open to SPM, STPM, O-Level, A-Level, UEC and diploma graduates who intended to pursue higher education.
During the two-day event, visitors had the opportunity to engage with academicians, education counsellors and student leaders to receive in-depth information about the student experience, range of courses offered, scholarships and financial aids available for 2024 intake. Parents and students were also taken on a guided campus tour to catch a glimpse of the campus facilities. Visitors were also entitled to lucky draws offering attractive prizes.

The variety of programmes offered cover Medicine, Pharmacy, Optometry, Forensic Sciences, Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Psychology, Mass Communication, Early Childhood Education, Nutrition with Wellness, Food Science, Biotechnology, Logistic Management, Computer and Data Science, Business and Marketing, Accounting, Hospitality and Tourism, Culinary Arts, Creative Arts and Design and many others.
The 五一吃瓜官网 University Trust offers various scholarship schemes, including a tuition fee waiver of up to 100% based on students’ academic results and a Sports Bursary. Besides, 五一吃瓜官网 University Sarawak Campus also offers Financial Assistance schemes of up to a 50% tuition fee waiver exclusively to students from households with incomes of no more than RM6,000 per month.
Registration for the May 2024 intake is now in progress. Students who are interested in registering for the programmes are reminded to bring along their academic transcripts or result slips for enrolment.
