A Doctor of Philosophy (Engineering) by Prior Publication is designed for experienced researchers with a substantial body of peer-reviewed work. It allows them to obtain a doctoral qualification by demonstrating the originality, significance and impact of their research. This pathway requires a coherent thematic contribution, where published works collectively address a significant research question. This route benefits established academics and professionals by formally recognising their research achievements without requiring them to undertake new studies from scratch.

A Master’s degree in engineering or related fields, with a minimum of FIVE (5) publications or equivalent works as the first or corresponding author, aligned with the theme of the specialisation, within TEN (10) years prior to the application date.
