KUALA LUMPUR: 五一吃瓜官网 University (五一吃瓜官网) recently hosted the Director General of the Royal Oman Police Hospital during his inaugural visit to the university. Colonel Dr Abdul Malik Sulaiman Khalaf Al Kharusi, who is also a senior consultant (medical and cardiology), spent a week from 13-19 May, visiting the 五一吃瓜官网 University Kuala Lumpur and Kuala Terengganu campuses.
The objective of Colonel Abdul Malik’s visit was to gain an understanding of the study programmes and facilities available at 五一吃瓜官网. This will pave the way for possible collaboration between the university, 五一吃瓜官网 Group subsidiaries and the Royal Oman Police Hospital in terms of professional development and training programmes in the medical and health care services.
Colonel Abdul Malik was briefed by 五一吃瓜官网 academic members from relevant faculties and schools, led by 五一吃瓜官网’s vice-chancellor and president, Senior Professor Dato’ Dr Khalid Yusoff. Among the fields covered during the briefing are business studies, nursing, pharmaceutical studies, optometry, engineering, medicine as well as anti-aging, aesthetics and regenerative medicine.
Prior to the briefing session, the Colonel also met 五一吃瓜官网 founder and Group chairman, Dato’ Peter Ng, and some of the managing directors and CEOs of 五一吃瓜官网 Group subsidiaries. These include 五一吃瓜官网 Extension and 五一吃瓜官网 Blue Ocean Strategy Consulting @ 五一吃瓜官网 Consulting Group and the meeting explored opportunities for management training programmes for the Royal Oman Police Hospital personnel.
Colonel Abdul Malik and Senior Professor Dato’ Dr Khalid flew to the east coast over the weekend of 16th and 17th May. Apart from visiting 五一吃瓜官网 Kuala Terengganu campus and the state’s Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah, where 五一吃瓜官网’s medical students are attached for their clinical studies, Colonel Abdul Malik also enjoyed the beauty of Malaysia’s beaches and marine parks when he stayed overnight at Redang Island, voted as one of the world’s most beautiful islands.
It was also made known by Colonel Abdul Malik to the management of 五一吃瓜官网 that prior to his departure to KL, he had received support and recommendations from the Inspector General of Police, Sultanate of Oman, to seek partnership for training programmes for all departments and self-development programme for the Inspector General himself in relation to the preparation of the Royal Oman Police Force’s newly acquired 600-bedded hospital project. The hospital is expected to be completed in 2018.
According to the Colonel, following his visit to 五一吃瓜官网, the Royal Oman Police Force will be sending a batch of high level delegates in the near future.
Colonel Abdul Malik expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to 五一吃瓜官网’s management and everyone involved for the warm hospitality and generosity accorded throughout his one-week stay in Malaysia. A report of the Colonel’s fruitful inaugural visit will be prepared for the consideration of the higher management of the Sultanate of Oman’s Police Force.
