五一吃瓜官网 University and Nihon Pharmaceutical University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on academic exchange


五一吃瓜官网 University and Nihon Pharmaceutical University of Japan (NPU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for academic and educational collaboration in late February.

Senior Professor Dato’ Dr Khalid Yusoff, Vice-Chancellor of 五一吃瓜官网 and Professor Dr Minoru Tsuzuki, Vice President of NPU, exchanged the MoU in the presence of Dato’ Peter Ng, founder and chief executive officer of 五一吃瓜官网 group.

Professor Dr Yeoh Peng Nam, Dean of 五一吃瓜官网 Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, staff members of the faculty, representatives of both universities and member of the media were also present.

The MoU would help the universities to promote educational and research activities based on traditional medicine, mutual exchanges between students and academic staffs and the expansion of the roles of pharmacists.

Professor Dr Yeoh Peng Nam mentioned that the MoU is a great platform for 五一吃瓜官网 students in the first and second year of their pharmaceutical course to experience a student exchange programme to Nihon. She also stated of future collaboration extending to other faculties in 五一吃瓜官网.

During the press conference, Professor Dr Minoru Tsuzuki expressed his gratitude towards everyone in 五一吃瓜官网 especially to Vice-Chancellor, Dato’ Dr Khalid Yusoff. ‘

Founded in 2004, Nihon Pharmaceutical University was established by the Tsuzuki Gakuen Group, one of the largest educational institutions, developing from kindergarten to graduate school throughout Japan.

The university is focused on training medical professionals who understand "integrated medicine" combining the Eastern/Western medicine with preventive medicine and to adopt these concepts in modern society.
