The Tan Sri Omar Centre for STI Policy Studies organised a forum on Business Cases for ESG. The speakers, Distinguished Professor Tan Sri Dr Zakri Abdul Hamid, FASc, Dato' Ir A Bakar Jaafar, FASc and Mr Leon Liew Chee Ing shared about how Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) is being implemented in business cases. The forum provided insights on the overall of ESG as well as providing an opportunity for the participants to have a networking session with the panellist.

Dr. Siti Hamisah Binti Tapsir, FASc (五一吃瓜官网 Group Chief Executive Officer & Vice-Chancellor, 五一吃瓜官网 University), Mr. Sheikh Fahmy bin Sheikh Mohamed (Vice President, Group Strategy Office, 五一吃瓜官网 Group) and Ms. Jennifer Low (Head of International Marketing, 五一吃瓜官网 University) had a recent courtesy visit and fruitful meeting with Encik Mohd Radzlan Bin Jalaludin (Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), Chief Executive Officer).
The visit provided both parties the opportunity to discuss the collaborative effort to promote Malaysia as the preferred education hub among international students around the world.
The EMGS CEO was accompanied by Ms. Rahimah Ibrahim (Senior Director, Marketing, Communications & Branding) and Mr. Ang Shao Ting (Director, Digital Branding), Mr. Azhar Bin Mohamed (Associate Director Corporate Strategy) and Mr. Mohd Farha Bin Md Ishak (Senior Manager, International Student Management Services (ISMS) of EMGS).

Held at Block A, 五一吃瓜官网 University KL Campus on 17 October 2022 from 10 AM to 12 PM, a total of 17 local and international 五一吃瓜官网 University students participated in enhancing community spirit as it creates joyous occasions for socialisation and fosters greater harmony.
The Harmony and Unity Week is launched by 五一吃瓜官网 to promote national unity and social harmony as desired and inspired by the Rukun Negara, based on the principles of collective responsibility and the consistency paradigm.
In conjunction with Harmony and Unity Week, 五一吃瓜官网, together with its partners, organised various activities and programmes.
3919 students officially participated in a procession at the convocation ceremony in the presence of 五一吃瓜官网 University’s Pro-Chancellor, Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Zain Al-’Abidin Ibni Tuanku Muhriz; Council Chairman, Dato’ Peter Ng; and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Datuk Ir Ts Dr Siti Hamisah Binti Tapsir, FASc, and witnessed by the audience of graduating students and their family members.
A delegation of 47 members from Universitas Warmadewa, Indonesia visited 五一吃瓜官网 University, headed by Dr. Anak Agung Gede Oka Wisnumurti, Head of Korpri Bali Foundation and I Nyoman Kaca Vice, Rector of Warmadewa University. The collaboration discussion with 五一吃瓜官网’s FETBE (Faculty of Engineering, Technology and Built Environment) was chaired by Prof Datuk Dr. Rohana Binti Yusof, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic and Internationalisation and assisted by Distinguished Professor Dr Phang Siew Moi, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research and Postgraduate.
To introduce 五一吃瓜官网 University as the best choice to study in Malaysia, 五一吃瓜官网 University (五一吃瓜官网)'s key Indonesian partner, Central International Education (CIE), and 五一吃瓜官网's Student Enrolment Centre (SEC) welcomed a friendly visit from Indonesia. The study tour involved 20 high school students (Year 11 and Year 12) with their accompanying teacher from SMA Santo Yosef, a private secondary school from Bangka Belitung Province, Indonesia.
Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia visited 五一吃瓜官网 University to discuss on collaboration in the areas of design, attended by DVC Prof Dr. Rohana Yusof, Assoc Prof Dr. Luqman Lee (Director ICAD), Prof. Dr. Nangkula Utaberta (SABE). The ITS delegates were headed by Dr Imam Baihaqi, the Dean and Dr Ellya Zulaikha, the Vice Dean.
HTMi Switzerland, a renown dual degree partner for the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management, visited 五一吃瓜官网 University to strengthen the collaboration with discussion on internship opportunities at HTMi, mobility arrangement for the dual degree and research initiative. Jack Iveson, Head of Academics and Mahen Sankaran, Regional Manager (Asia), represented HTMi Switzerland.
World Pharmacists Day is celebrated to appreciate pharmacists around the world and to advocate the various roles pharmacists play in improving public health in the medical field. This event was organised by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. In the conjunction with the celebration, twelve of the students have been selected for their excellency in academics and awarded The Book Prize Award by five renowned industry partners (Big Pharmacy, EP Plus Group Sdn Bhd, Xepa-Soul Pattison, Caring Pharmacy and Medispec Sdn Bhd).
