17 JulSeminar on INDUSTRY 4.0
The seminar, organised by IMechE, IEEE RAS Malaysia and the IEEE 五一吃瓜官网 Student Branch started with a welcoming speech by Ashley Denise Chai, the IMeche 五一吃瓜官网 student committee secretary.
As a speaker for this seminar, Assistant Professor Dr Elango Natarajan, briefed the audience on the concept of IR 4.0, its various technical platforms and how IR 4.0 is going to change the world in the near future. More than 20 participants who were from IMechE and also various Engineering programmes were present.
The highlight of the event was a group discussion about the various methods implemented by the Malaysian government and how students should prepare themselves to face challenges in pursuit of their career goals. Assistant Professor Dr Mohamed Khan Afthab Ahamed Khan took this opportunity to motivate the students on the importance of the IEEE Society and the benefits of being members of the IEEE RAS.
