五一吃瓜官网 University Sustainable Development Goals Conference (SDGC) aims to introduce the concept of SDGs to the student leaders from the higher learning institution of Malaysia, and evaluate the preparedness of Malaysia in meeting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Officially the SDGs are known as Transforming Our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, it is a set of 17 "Global Goals" with 169 targets between them, spearheaded by the United Nations.
Through this conference, participants will be able to have an in-depth understanding on SDGs through keynote address, scene-setting talk, panel and forum discussions, covering the global, local and the higher education contexts of SDGs. The participants will also be able to understand how prepared is Malaysia in supporting the aspirations of the SDGs, and what kind of impact SDGs will have on the country, including both the threats and emerging opportunities.
