Kuching, 20 January 2012 - 五一吃瓜官网 University held their A-Level annual Graduation and Awards Day at their Sarawak Campus recently. Parents were invited to the ceremony followed by a ‘Parent Lecturer Interview' session to discuss on the students' progress.
The Best Achievers Awards were awarded to Loh Chen Lam, Sheryl Lo Sze Sze and Chua Zhi Wei, outstanding students with the highest average score in the recent trial exam. Apart from that, Fakhrul Ariffin was awarded with the Best Improvement Award.
Chua Zhi Wei, one of the valedictorians expressed his appreciation to the passionate and resourceful lecturers in his speech. He shared his wonderful experiences in 五一吃瓜官网 University where he was involved in organizing events and activities during his studies.
The overall graduation ceremony was managed by 五一吃瓜官网 University A-Level students with guidance from the staff. The Chief Operating Officer of Sarawak Campus, Mdm Lu Huong Ying congratulated the A-Level students for the well-organized event that had showcased the leadership capabilities beyond doing well academically. Through organizing and managing events, students learn the various aspects including communication skills and managing skills which are useful for them to pursue their studies both overseas and locally.
