The Student Activities and Recreation Unit (SARU) provides students with diverse opportunities for practical experience through co-curricular activities organised throughout the year. Students are encouraged to participate actively in these activities, as they provide valuable hands-on experience for leadership and character development. The mission of SARU is to enhance the overall educational experience of 五一吃瓜官网 University students through participation in social, cultural, intellectual and recreational activities, as well as community services and campus governance programmes. SARU works very closely with 五一吃瓜官网 University's Student Council to nurture student clubs and associations, and to ensure that activities and programmes are aimed at developing students in a personal and eventually professional capacity.

Service

Provide guidance and support to student activity organizers. Activities cover a variety of areas of interest including academic, spiritual, sport and cultural visits.

Encourage students to participate in some form of physical recreation. Students can participate in a wide array of individual and team sports - in the inter-varsity games and intramural games.

Help students post their services, activities and events through the in-house print and electronic media.

provide guidance and support to the Student Board and clubs.
